    Chapter 52 Event Photo Album

Here's a selection of photos from several of the many Chapter 52 events we've had.

    Aluminum Overcast

One of the highlights recently was the arrival of the "Aluminum Overcast" to Sacramento. Chapter 52 sponsored the visitation of EAA's restored B-17 as part of it's national tour. The best part was that we had the infamous General Chuck Yeager, Ret. pilot the beautiful big bird in for it's arrival to a huge crowd of visitors and news media. For 4 days, the B-17 was on hand for tours and flights. For a reasonable price, folks got to experience an exciting and memorable ride in one of the greatest aircraft of World War II. Everyone that flew said it was worth every penny. To learn more about this historical aircraft, see panoramic photos, and to check out the tour schedule, visit the Aluminum Overcast website.
